Client information is handled under strict adherence to the guidelines that follow below.
Collection of client information
When collecting information, we will inform the client as to the purpose and intended use of the information. This information will only be used to the extent that the client consents and will not be used for purposes that have not been disclosed.

Provision of client information to third parties
UJMED will not provide client information to third parties without the express [written] consent of the client unless disclosure is required by law, or requested by public institutions such as courts of law or law enforcement.
Deletion, correction, and disclosure of client information
We will disclose client information only with the express written request of the client. When requested, we will also amend (e.g., for purposes of changing an address) or delete information. Upon change or deletion of information, we will provide the client with a statement (e.g., for disclosure) the next business day. Please note that we may require additional forms of identification of the client (copy of residence certificate, copy of driver's license) with a disclosure request to verify that it is the client making the request. Disclosure of client information will be provided through delivery in the written form. A fee of 525 yen/request (tax included) is required.
Security policy
In addition to taking measures to secure client information, we constantly update our system to prevent unauthorized access, loss of client information, information leaks, and data corruption.
